Lesson 141
One type of entry you may practice is the controlled seated entry followed by putting your scuba kit on at the surface in water too deep in which to stand. This is a useful technique when diving from small boats in which there is not enough room to kit up. It is also useful for entering the water from heights too great for a giant stride – you lower your kit on a line and descend to the water on a ladder. You may also use this technique if you’re not physically able to wear scuba gear out of water.
